Volunteer

Our Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo is made possible in part through the work of our volunteers. In exchange for their work, volunteers can receive a free or partial registration to the 2024 AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo. Volunteer opportunities are provided on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please read the full details below before signing up to volunteer.

For every 4 hours volunteered, one complimentary day pass will be issued, or for 8 hours volunteered, receive a full complimentary registration. Volunteers must be able to fulfill the assigned job duties; descriptions of the duties can be found at the volunteer website on the shifts page. Volunteers will receive advance and on-site instruction and training.

Volunteers who register for 4 hours of service will receive a code to use when they register online for one day of complimentary registration.

Volunteers who register for 8 hours will receive a code to use for a full meeting complimentary registration.

Volunteers will be asked for their credit card at registration and will be charged for any special events they’ve opted into. When the event begins, volunteers must check in at the volunteer office to ensure their hours are counted. If a volunteer does not check in or show up, they will be charged for the registration. More details on check-in and shifts will be sent closer to the event.

**AAM does not cover the cost of travel or accommodations. Volunteers who do not attend their selected shifts and complete the total number of volunteer hours needed to fulfill their complimentary registration requirements will be charged for the full price of registration.
